Government and CoSLA launched Supporting the Development of Scotland’s Alcohol
and Drug Workforce (see link on the right) in
December 2010. The statement is ‘for anyone who has a role in improving
outcomes for individuals, families or communities with problematic drug or
alcohol use’. The statement also sets out actions required to
deliver the alcohol and drug workforce and outlines the important roles of
those directly involved in workforce development.
