someone's drug or alcohol problem on their family and friends is often
overlooked. It is estimated that almost one in five of us are likely to
have a family member affected in this way. In fact, over 26 per cent of our
clients are also parents, a figure which increases to over fifty per cent in

health, wellbeing, their finances, social lives and relationships with others.

families and carers affected by substance misuse. If families get help in
their own right, it is more likely that their loved one will be successful in
tackling their own addiction.
